The Books

Desert War – The Battle of Sidi Rezegh is the result of two visits by Peter Cox and his wife, Robin, to the battlefield near Tobruk, Libya. His first book, Good Luck to All the Lads, tells the story of his father, Brian Cox, and his platoon, who fought in the battle as part of Operation Crusader. Inspired by veterans' stories and a return visit to Sidi Rezegh, Peter wrote Desert War to provide a more complete account of the battle.

His latest book, Tunis is Mad Tonight, explores the life of New Zealand war correspondent Douglas Brass, offering a unique perspective on World War II through the eyes of a frontline journalist.
